The homebuilding industry possesses unique attributes that differentiate it from typical manufacturing or services industries. And within the homebuilding industry, one size does not fit all. Every builder has its own strengths, culture, opportunities, and value propositions.

Our team is comprised of industry professionals. We have been employees and owners of homebuilding companies and land development companies. We have bought, sold, and developed land. We have designed, constructed, marketed, sold, and warrantied homes. We have not spent our careers behind a desk on Wall Street because we were busy getting our boots dirty out in the field. We appreciate the pressures associated with meeting quarterly goals. We are entrepreneurs that have taken risk to launch companies. We appreciate and respect the fiduciary responsibilities and obligations builders have to their investors and clients. And we believe these hands-on experiences allow us to best understand and serve our M&A clients, whether they are selling their homebuilding company or buying a builder.
Selling a business is a major milestone in the life of an entrepreneur. For most owners, their homebuilding company represents their life’s work. We can manage a targeted search for a builder based on geographic, size, and operational characteristics. Or, we can represent clients pursuing a builder involved in a structured sales process.

Then we create a customized plan to confidentially engage prospective builders.
